Inka Tattoos LTD is a Studio based in Derby City Centre whose internal companies services are currently Tattooing, Piercing, Aesthetics and Laser removal.

  • Customer financial information (the last 4 digits of your debit / credit card number if purchases are made through our website (www.inkastudios.ltd). Debit / credit card details are also processed over the phone if any purchases are made via phone call through a member of staff.
  • Personal information with regards to accessibility.
  • Photography done, by companies residing within the Inka Tattoos Ltd premises, of consenting customers during ongoing services within the Inka Tattoos Ltd premises.

How We Get The Personal Information And Why We Have It

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • Your personal identifiers will be used as a form of identification, to verify that you are of the minimum age that we have put in place and have the necessary forms of I.D. in order to access our services.

  • Your email address and name, if given to us with your consent, will be used to give you all of our future promotions, content or offers in the form of email marketing from us if given consent to do so. You will always have the right to opt out of receiving email marketing from us by either ticking the box to opt out on your initial tattoo enquiry form or by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email you have received from us. If you unsubscribe, please allow 3 days for the action to take effect.

(b) We have a contractual obligation. When booking in for a tattoo with us, this is contractual through the offer and acceptance of the services that we provide in exchange for money.

(c) We have a legal obligation. We have a legal obligation when processing your data. Due to the nature of the services that we provide, we require:

  • Your full name, date of birth and a legal form of I.D. to make sure that you are of the legal age of 18 years of age to obtain a tattoo. This is in accordance with 'The Tattooing of Minors Act (1969)'.
  • Your full name, date of birth and a legal form of I.D. to make sure that you are of the legal age of 16 years of age to obtain a nipple piercing. This is in accordance with the 'The Sexual Offences Act (2003)'. Please note that we do not offer nipple piercing services to anyone under the age of 18 as a part of our Studio Terms and Conditions.
  • Your full name, date of birth and a legal form of I.D. to make sure that you are of the legal age of 18 years of age to undergo an aesthetic procedure. This is in accordance with the 'Botulinum Toxin and Cosmetic Fillers (Children) Act (2021)'.
  • In order to comply with the local councils skin piercing regulations, we are required to ask for the following information:
  • Your Full Name.
  • Your Address.
  • Your Date of Birth.
  • Your phone number.
  • A form of your I.D.
  • Your relevant medical history/allergies.

(f) We have a legitimate interest. We may use your contact information, if given consent, to use for marketing purposes. This marketing would be done through emails that you can subscribe or unsubscribe from at any point in time. If you wish to unsubscribe from our marketing list by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email you have received from us, we have 3 days to process your request and for the action to take place.


How We Store Your Personal Information 

Your information is securely stored. 

  • We keep your consent form/s containing personal identifiers and relevant medical information safe within the ‘Inka Tattoos Ltd’ premises for the necessary period of time. We will then dispose of your consent form/s by shredding it/them.
  • We keep a merchant copy of your receipt/s on record for our accounts safe within the ‘Inka Tattoos Ltd’ premises for the necessary period of time, we then dispose of your receipt/s by shredding it/them.
  • Digital data or information is disposed of by destruction of the hard drive it is stored on.
